“This is to certify that Ron Incoronato & Company was hired as the principal contractor for the refurbishment of the Molloy residence at 375 Whipps Lane, Lakeside, Montana from October of 1999 through to completion in July of 2000. The refurbishment consisted of completely restoring the two existing floors with entirely new floor plans and significant structural changes. In addition, Mr. Incoronato built a new third story, three functional decks, and merged the old and new structures with an aesthetic interior and exterior symmetry.
One of the most important aspects of Ron’s work is his creative impulse. He is not content to work with traditional lines, and often suggested important opportunities for utilizing depth, space, and texture in new exciting ways. The result has been the creation of a living space that is both functional and artistic. Ron persuaded us to augment our own ideas with creative ideas in lighting, split ceilings, eating nooks and art displays that are now built into the living space as if they always belonged there.
We feel that one of the most important skills of any contractor is that of coordination. Ron proved to work well with many different personalities and was flexible and encouraging enough for other contractors to accommodate our schedules and deadlines. Patience was also a virtue, as Ron allowed us the benefit of changing our design ideas several times as the project progressed. He patiently considered new ideas in respect to the overall themes of the house and gave us feedback on each new possibility by researching the detailed consequences of new design ideas. As with any project, this house had its share of difficulties between opinions of the family and other contractors, and Ron was able to remain objective in stressful situations, skillfully ensuring that our best interests were achieved.
In terms of skill, Ron offers the rare combination of architectural and building talent with an organized and productive work manner. Ron keeps daily lists and goes through each item with his clients, explaining and ticking off decisions through two-way communication. The result is a true partnership whereby we felt that we were each invested in a common goal of a well-built final product.
As can be seen by the before and after photos, Ron’s work is the best promotion for his abilities. Our new home is better than any of us could have imagined it would be. The house has its own personality and has the feel that it was always meant to be as it now stands. Our home has been through a process of renewal that gives it new character and a feeling of modernization that blends seamlessly with its original, rather aged structure. Ron has made us proud owners of what we consider to be a new home, and he can share his own pride in the result after creating this project with us every step of the way.
